CRACK MIX: ‘ODE TO THE SMOKING AREA’

Trippin are a travel platform for the next generation. Their community promotes consideration to the environmental, cultural and localisation of a destination. They curate travel guides of locations with influencers and creatives to give a more authentic experience for it’s followers. 

2021 saw a long term relationship with Trippin as I was brought on board to look at a range of projects. This included designing typography lockup’s, animated title cards and visual identities for brand partnerships with the likes of Versace, New Era and Tommy Jeans. The biggest project with them however, was to art direct a visual language for how their trademark Travel Guides were translated from their heavily interactive layout on their website to their Instagram feed. It needed to translate the vibrancy and buzzing energy that exploring these guides felt like.

The project involved building a library of fonts, titles, frames and templates - that could be used easily by Trippin’s internal staff. Alongside this we were keen to build an additional library of a large varied range of stickers and labels that could be applied to multiple pages
