‘Still LIVE’ iNstallation at tate britain
Commissioned by Reprezent Radio for one of Tate Britain’s ‘Late At Tate’ events to produce an immersive installation - curated with live performances from DJs India Jordan, JQ and Marshal Darling. Entitled 'STILL LIVE' - the installation explored the idea of applying fiction to the 'still life' format, traditionally perceived as a true representation of reality. The event took place on Friday 7th December 2018. The installation consisted of 6 plinths in the 1804 room in the Tate, flanked by 3 video monitors and a large scale projection at the end of the space. I also produced an interactive ‘Hyper-Reality Life Drawing’ session for the event, inviting participants to draw what they see through the disruption, interruption and distortion of the projected life drawing models on screen.
